Each individual is guided to new levels of feeling their power through the lengthening and strengthening of muscle and spine. This process of realignment and reconnection is the primary objective and what every individual deserves.

In person Pilates classes offer you the opportunity to train with Gratz Pilates equipment.

Remote Pilates

 I have been offering remote Pilates for the past 3 years. 

Remote classes offer you the opportunity to train using a yoga mat and optionally a Pilates Barrel. If you already own equipment, training can be offered using it.

Kajsa Ceder, Inlightning Pilates

          My Pilates training began in the 1980’s with a “second generation” teacher, Isa Bohn. The term “second generation” refers to teachers who studied under “fist generation teachers”, who studied under Joseph Pilates, founder of Pilates. After my mentorship with Isa I became a certified teacher through Equinox and later obtained my Classical Pilates certificate in a program called ‘The Work' taught by Pilates elder Jay Grimes a “first generation” teacher, and master “second generation” teachers Sandy Shimoda and Karen Frischmann. In addition, I studied with Juliann Hessel, a “second generation” teacher.​

          I incorporate my studies of Cranial Sacral into my sessions, enhancing one’s experience of mind and body connection. In this way I strive to support the individual on their physical & metaphysical path by encouraging alignment and the releasing of energies no longer needed with special attention to one’s body’s structure and ailments. I firmly believe to work with someone within the Pilates system to help them to heal, strengthen, and align without pushing and without pain.

" I am a 67 year-old woman who, prior to working with Kajsa, had osteoporosis of the spine, due to an L5 compression fracture from pelvic radiation for uterine cancer, and osteoporosis of the hips, also from radiation treatment. I have been working diligently with Kajsa for about a year and a half. I see her twice a week for individual sessions. Her knowledge of L5 compression fractures, including modifying exercises to alleviate pressure in the lower back, was impressive and reassuring. I knew I was building up strength, but I was not expecting my Pilates training with Kajsa to improve my bone density. Much to my amazement, my recent bone density scan showed a 7% increase in bone density in the spine, thus putting me back in the osteopenia category, and a 2% increase in bone density in the hips.
